How to install and use deepfreeze to protect windows xp from virus easy step
Deepfreeze it's name told you. It can freeze your Hard Disk or just freeze some of your Drive Partition
It work like this. if your Windows defect Virus or Trojan you just turn off your PC when you restart everything is back to the day you just freeze and you don't need to update it like anti virus program.
We Use DeepFreeze 2000 xp ( it for Windows Xp )
Let's Start
- Choose > Drive you want to Freeze ( I Choose C: and D: and I don't want to freeze E: because I need to update and save some file )
- Click > Install
- Click > Accept License Agreement
- Click > OK
Click > OK to begin install and it will Restart
After restart it will ask to set password (This pop up will disappear in 5 second)
Click > Yes to set password or No to set it later ( or let it disappear )
- Enter > your password to set
- Enter > Confirm your password
- Click > OK to save your password
When you want to open Deepfreeze Menu
Press > Shift + Double Click on DeepFreeze icon at right bottom Taskbar
- Enter > your Password you just set ( or if you don't set password just Click > OK )
- Click > OK
On > Boot Control Tab there are three option
- Boot Frozen ( freeze your drive )
- Boot Thawed on next 1 restart ( unfreeze on next restart 1 turn )
- Boot Thawed ( unfreeze your drive )
So we want to freeze our drive
- Choose > Boot Frozen
- Click > OK
- Restart > your PC to freeze it (every time you freeze or unfreeze it will work after next restart )
If you want to Change your Password (or did not set your password yet)
On > Password Tab
- Enter > your new password
- Enter > Confirm your password
- Click > OK
If you want to Download it just
Type > deep freeze 2000 xp > in Google and Search
You will see a lot of site to Download just pick one you trust
